Gary McMahan

I’ve spent winters in this country that I thought would never end. I saw a Charlie Russell painting called “Waiting for a Chinook” at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody one time, and this song hit me. I’ll bet anyone who has lived out in the mountains or on the northern ranges will know what I’m singing about here.
